Shipping and Returns Policy
If you need to return an item please contact us at email@example.com to arrange. Please do not return anything to us without prior approval.
The customer will be notified via email upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s) to advise once the return has been finalised and the outcome.
Please note, there are no exchanges or refunds on any sale items unless faulty or for teethers, headbands, beanies or snuggle me organic loungers which are non-returnable unless faulty for hygiene reasons.
Change Of Mind
Returns for change of mind or where the incorrect size was ordered must be requested within 14 days of purchase.
A store credit will be offered for change of mind or where the incorrect size was ordered. No refunds will be provided in these situations. We don't offer exchanges as additional shipping needs to be charged so if an exchange is wanted a store credit will be issued and you may place a new order for the replacement items using the code given.
Shipping costs to return the item to Oakie Baby are at the customers expense.
Incorrect Items Shipped
Returns where the incorrect item or size was shipped to you must be made upon receipt of the incorrect item.
A replacement will be offered on all incorrect products returned unworn and unused, with all tags/packaging still attached and intact. Should a replacement not be available a refund will be offered.
Shipping costs to return the incorrect item to Oakie Baby will be reimbursed upon receipt of an itemised invoice. Receipts must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org for the reimbursement to be processed.
Requests for returns for faulty items may be made at any time after purchase however discretion will be used to establish how much time has passed since the item was received, how much wear it will reasonably have received and whether the fault is considered major or minor. For minor faults (faults that can easily be repaired) you will be offered either reimbursement of repair costs upon receipt of an itemised invoice from a repair centre or a store credit of similar value if you choose not to have the item repaired. For major faults, where the item is fundamentally unusable and not easily repaired a replacement will be offered or if one is not available a refund will be given equal to the value paid by the customer via the original payment method upon return of the item.
The cost of return postage for faulty items will be reimbursed by Oakie Baby upon receipt and inspection of the return. A copy of the shipping receipt should be emailed to email@example.com for reimbursement to be processed.
If a faulty item is returned along with exchanges or change of mind returns this does not apply.
If you wish to cancel an order once it has been placed you may do so within 24 hours of placing the order, providing it hasn't shipped already. If the order was paid with Afterpay there will be a 6.5% restocking charge to cover the Afterpay fees as unfortunately these fees are not reimbursed to me.
We aim to ship all orders within 48 hours of the order being received. The exception to this is where a pre sale item is ordered, in this case your order will ship once the pre order stock has arrived in store. Orders will not be split where a presale item is ordered with in stock items unless the split shipping option is selected at checkout. If you would like some items sent earlier please ensure you select 'Split Shipping'. If you've already ordered and would like it split then please contact us via our contact us page and we can arrange to invoice you for the extra shipping to split.
We offer an express shipping option for orders shipping within Australia. Express orders will be shipped within our usual shipping timeframe of 48 hours but will be sent express with Australia Post. Selecting Express Shipping DOES NOT move you to the front of the queue or mean your order will be given priority, all orders are processed on a first come first served basis although if you do need something sent urgently please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Orders for NZ, USA and HK will be shipped via DHL Express with delivery usually within 3 business days of shipment.
All Australian orders are sent via Australia Post and International orders are shipped via DHL. You will be notified via email once your order has shipped and tracking details will be sent to you.
Please note during a big release or a sale shipping times may be slightly longer as we work through larger than usual order volumes, we will always endeavour to get your order out as soon as we possibly can and in these situations your patience is appreciated.

PRE ORDERS - Approximate shipment times for pre order items will be stated in the listing for the individual product. Please note that these are estimates only and whilst 90% of the time the goods are shipped within those timeframes, sometimes delays beyond our control do happen and shipping times may be extended. Stock will always ship the minute it arrives and we appreciate your patience in these situations.
